4 days / 3 nights - Departing from Sheik Hussein Border
Day 1:
Departure from Sheik Hussein Border (Beit Sha'an). Travel to Jerash
for a guided tour of the "Roman City" considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. To this day it's colonnaded streets, baths, theaters, plazas and arches remain in exceptional condition.
Afternoon travel to Amman – sight seeing tour of the Capital of Jordan. Dinner and overnight Amman.
Day 2:
After breakfast drive east to visit the Desert Castles scattered throughout the Black Basalt Desert. The Castles stand as a testament to the flourishing beginnings of Islamic-Arab civilization . Visit the castles Amra, noted for its extensive fresco paintings, Kharaneh is one of the best preserved Umayyad monuments, and the fort at Azraq, built entirely from
local basalt stones.
Dinner and overnight Amman.
Day 3:
After breakfast drive to Petra along the King's Way" route, enter
Petra through Al-Siq, a winding trail at the bottom of a natural deep canyon, at the end of which reveals itself the most famous Treasury Monument . Hear story of the Nabateans who established Petra as their capital on the “Spice Route”.
Dinner and overnight Petra.
Day 4:
After breakfast travel North with stops for visits at Dana Village
overlooking the magnificent Dana Wadi and Nature reserve, Kerak
Byzantine Fortress, the holy city of Madaba, well known for its outstanding
Byzantine mosaics, the earliest surviving map of the Holy Land in a mosaic floor dating back to 560AD. Continue to Mt. Nebo, the traditional burial site of Moses. Visit the ancient church at the top of the hill, overlooking the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Afternoon travel back via Jordan Valley road to Sh. Hussein Border for departure to Israel.

Transportation in Israel to and from Sheik Hussein Border to be coordinated upon reservation.
